Northwest Valley Cheerleading:

National Youth Sports provides a low cost way to become involved in recreational activity without any fundraising commitments. The NYS Cheer program fees are all inclusive which covers registration, uniform, special functions and professional instruction for the entire eight week session!

NYS Cheer presents a fun, social atmosphere that primarily focuses on building character, teamwork skills, and learning the fundamentals of cheerleading rather than competition. We believe in family orientation and require parents to participate in the operation of their child’s team by volunteering to coach or assist with practices or other operational duties.

We welcome all girls ages 5-14 years; NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Teams will be broken down by age groups: 5-7 years, 8-10 years, and 11-14 years old, and assembled based on resident zip code in order to facilitate the most convenient commutes to practices and games, when possible.

Teams practice 1-2 times weekly and cheer for our tackle football games on Saturdays during the season. Each session runs for eight weeks.  Seasons run in the fall, winter, spring and summer! Practice times and locations are set by each individual team based on the availability of its members and parent volunteers.

At the end of each session the teams invite their family and friends to our Spirit Spectacular Showcase where each team performs a cheer or routine learned during the season and receives recognition for a successful season!

Over the course of each session our cheerleaders build confidence and self-esteem in addition to building last friendships and unforgettable memories!
